LESHAWNA TOTAL DRAMA PLUS
Plus it makes room for more Harold and Courtney conflict and puts Gwen in a tough spot. Nice girl who told a lie and showed a nasty side trying to get votes against a bully with a soft side. Personally I think a Leshawna vs Duncan finale would be the best case for Action. And then in the Aftermath she loses a boxing match to a kangaroo. DJ went from "I wanna go home" in Japan to "lol screw you Bridgette and Leshawna" and then right back to "I wanna go home" after. In what world does "seize the day" translate to "attack this girl" anyway? It throws away tons of development for both characters and makes her look bad. Why vote out a huge threat that you don't like when you can vote out a close friend and strong ally, because a girl you don't like told you too. Action was a case of Harold being stupid and easily manipulated. Islands was the most forgivable since it was actually foreshadowed a little bit. Just have the Playa des Losers bit with no elimination, then have the next episode be the one where LeShawna gets kicked off by some other means instead of the weird Mr Coconut elimination subplot.īest character imo but all of her eliminations suck Its bullshit, and it puts a stain on what was otherwise a really great episode.Īnd it was really unnecessary too. fine whatever, and then instead of contriving an actual scenario which would result in her getting the Dock of Shame they're just like "what if Chris (with assistance from a racist parrot) just rigged a vote from the losing contestants to force her out".

The writers just decided they wanted Leshawna gone, which. Leshawna's elimination did none of those things. Lindsay), or just feels like it adds something from a storytelling perspective. Its one thing to have an unfair elimination if its good drama, or a pivotal moment for their character (i.e. There's just no possible avenue from which I could defend it from, with every new angle from which you look it only gets dumber. Having said that, her elimination on the island is really infuriating and is the most absurd elimination in the whole first season. Island LeShawna is also fantastic, not to get me wrong, is a matter of preference. I actually prefer her in Action, I love Island LeShawna but she is too good, she is a mother bear that is always protecting the others and while fantastic, I think the human approach they gave her in Action made her more relatable, as she could make mistakes, and could even befriend someone she was bitterly opposed. They could make the POC girl any other stereotype, not the racist one. I agree that she has more to her but still is "sassy, ill-mannered, and ill-tempered " as her core. She's a racist stereotype, the angry Black woman, this makes her a bad character? No, but it's still a racist stereotype, and the only way to finish them is no using them, no matter how good they are, so I disagree with her being the perfect representation. In Total Drama Action, Leshawna is revealed to never cry, a fact which her team uses to expose a lie.LeShawna is great and awesome, I loved her but as someone already mentions she has a problem. A goal of hers is to one day open her own community center. While not on Total Drama, she volunteers to better the lives of other teenagers less fortunate than she is. Leshawna loves to dance, though the others (except Harold) do not take pleasure in watching her do so. She is good at certain physical competitions and has proven herself to be skillful during challenges, even though sometimes her large size can hold her back. She also isn't the worst at forming insults if need be, especially when it comes to Heather and Alejandro. She is extremely street-smart, with her vocabulary covered in slang while calling her fellow contestants nicknames such as "Baby", "Honey", and "Sugar". She is not above revenge, be it on her own behalf or that of a friend.

She will not hesitate to get physical if the matter calls for it, especially if her weight is the topic of discussion. However, she is not one to be messed with, and will not hold back on someone who has wronged her. Leshawna tells it like it is, and has no fear whatsoever of calling people out on their mistakes. If shown respect, she will reciprocate it indefinitely. She is loyal and sassy, yet also can be affectionate and caring. Leshawna can either be a powerful ally, or someone's worst enemy, depending on the person. Leshawna is a sassy woman and a contestant of the first generation of Total Drama.
